Funding

The ICF Research Branch is mainly sponsored by the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Institute for Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the Ludwig-Maximilian University.

Some of the studies being performed at the ICF Research Branch are partially supported by other corporations:

ICF Core Sets for Chronic Conditions
The multicenter, cross-sectional study with 1200 of the Preparatory Phase was partially funded by the Munich Medical Journal (Münchner Medizinische Wochenschrift, Neumarkterstr. 43, D-81673 Munich).
Phase I and II of the project are partially funded by the Federal Ministery of Education and Research within a the program of Rehabilitation Sciences Network in Germany, grant no. 016D0112 (Rehabilitationswissenschaftlicher Forschungsverbund Bayern - RFB - , Marcusstr. 9-10, D-97070 Würzburg).

The study "Validation of the Comprehensive ICF Core Set for Rheumatoid Arthritis from the Patient Perspective" is funded by the Deutsche Rheuma-Liga e.V. Bundesverband.

The EULAR Executive Committee has bestowed a research grant to the ICF Research Branch of the WHO Collaborating Center for the European validation study of the ICF Core Sets for five musculoskeletal diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, low back pain and chronic widespread pain.

ICF Core Sets for the acute hospital and early post-acute rehabilitation facilities
This project is funded by the German Ministry of Health and Social Security (BMGS), grant no 124-43164-1/501.

Development of ICF Core Sets for Head and Neck Cancer(HNC)
The Core Set development project is funded by Deutsche Krebshilfe e.V.

Development of ICF Core Sets for Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)
The project is partly funded by the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation.

Development of ICF Core Sets for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
The project is funded by the Hertie Foundation (grant: 1.01.1/06/008)

Development of ICF Core Sets for Hand Conditions
