Carla
Sabariego has been working since 2002 as a research assistant
at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
of the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany and
since April 2008 as a research assistant at the ICF Research
Branch at the Institute for Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
(IHRS) located as well at the Ludwig-Maximilian University
in Munich. She was born in 1971 in São Paulo, Brazil
and received her diploma in Psychology in 1994 from the University
"Universidade de São Paulo" in Brazil. From
1995 to 1997 she attended full time further training in clinical
psychology at the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology
of the University "Universidade Federal de São
Paulo". She obtained her master's degree in public health
2002 at the "Institut für Medizinische Informationsverarbeitung,
Biometrie und Epidemiologie (IBE)" at the Ludwig-Maximilian
University in Munich, Germany. From 2002 to 2008 she worked
with research in the field of health economics, mainly with
incremental cost-effectiveness-analyses of longitudinal rehabilitation
studies. Since April 2008 she belongs to the working group
"Development of an ICF-based patient education for stroke
patients". She is married and has two children.
