CURRICULUM VITAE

René Mittrach is physiotherapist at the ICF Research Branch of WHO FIC Collaborating Center (DIMDI), IHRS, located at the University of Munich, Germany. He was born 1971 in Bautzen, Germany. He finished his physiotherapy education in 1996 and he is specialized in Manual Therapy. He received his post-graduate diploma in Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) 2001 in Switzerland. His major field of work is the development and evaluation of ICF based tools to describe functioning and disability in acute and post-acute early rehabilitation. His special expertise within this project is physical therapy and related fields. He is a lecturer in ICF for physiotherapy students at the Philipps-University Marburg since 2005.
