Dr. Eva Grill, MPH

Eva
Grill was born in 1964 in Munich. She obtained a degree as a
pharmacist in 1988 and worked in pharmaceutical industry as
a product manager from 1988 to 1997. From 1997 to 1999 she studied
Public Health at the Postgradualer Studiengang Öffentliche
Gesundheit und Epidemiologie at the Ludwig-Maximilian University
Munich (LMU), obtaining the Master of Public Health in 1999.
In 2003 she received a doctorate in Public Health for research
on the determinants of medication after myocardial infarction.
She is teaching analytic and descriptive epidemiology and medical
statistics at the LMU Munich and at the University for Health
Informatics and Technology Tyrol (UMIT). Since 2001 she is a
scientific working group leader at the Department of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation of the LMU (head: Prof Dr Gerold
Stucki). Her main interests are outcomes research, epidemiology
of functional health and cost effectiveness modelling.
She is married and has two children, Paul and Patricia.
