Edda Amann, born 1960 in Austria, works as a research scientist
at the ICF Research Branch of WHO FIC Collaborating Center
(DIMDI), IHRS, at the University of Munich in Germany. She
finished her diploma in psychology in October 2002 at the
University of Innsbruck in Austria. In February 2005 she completed
a postgraduate study in "Public Health" at the University
of Munich, Germany.
Her field of work comprehends various areas, such as validation
of ICF Core Sets from the perspective of health professionals
(e.g. clinical social workers) or data collection by interviewing
patients with chronic conditions. Her major field of work
is the linkage of results of Focus Groups and Delphi exercises
and of health-status measures to the International Classification
of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).
